A Norwegian Minnesotan (colloquially sometimes known as a Minnewegian) is a Norwegian American in the U.S. state of Minnesota. As of 2024, 810,300 Minnesotans claim Norwegian ancestry[13]—equivalent to 13.89% of Minnesota's population[14] and 18.0% of the total Norwegian American population.[15][needs update]
