Heaven Adores You likely makes him notable, but the rest of the article is WAY too much like a LinkedIn resume, and IMDB shouldn't be used as a source--if it is, that's usually a bad sign. I believe he is notable for having directed a widely viewed film about a very popular artist and he is linked in many other films with their own pages. I've cleaned-up the post to be more matter-of-fact and only used what is verifiable in secondary sources and cited them properly.
